Construction will soon begin on a new morale-boosting outdoor Community Pavilion.
As the Air Force runner-up for the 2013 Commander in Chief's Installation Excellence Award, McConnell AFB was awarded funds for quality of life improvement projects. The first of these will be the pavilion.
